Job Overview

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Incentives: Additional $1.00 per hour for evening shifts (7:00pm - 11:59pm) and $2.00 per hour for overnight shifts (12:00am - 4:59am).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily management of ranch operations, including feeding, mortality management, equipment calibration, and sanitation tasks.
  • Contribute to the grow-out program by ensuring optimal conditions for setup, brooding, temperature control, ventilation, mortality management, vaccination, and medication.
  • Assist in organizing feed deliveries, maintaining precise feed and fuel records, and ensuring effective growing practices. Help uphold facilities and equipment for peak performance and visual appeal.
  • Learn and assist in upholding sanitation standards and disease prevention protocols. Maintain a strong focus on safety, animal welfare, and bio-security, promptly reporting any issues to the Ranch Manager or Field Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong mathematical and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (Basic English).
  • Able to develop supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • Willingness to work as scheduled, including overtime, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Adherence to company standards, guidelines, and policies is essential.
  • Flexibility to work at various ranches or complexes as required.
