Park Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Park Maintenance Assistant to join our team at the State of Connecticut. As a Park Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and operation of our recreational facilities, including litter pickup, cleaning, mowing, raking, and painting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, mowing, and raking
- Assist with litter pickup and other cleaning tasks
- Operate machinery and power equipment, such as lawn mowers and chain saws
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist with special events and projects as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions
- Valid driver's license required
