Job Title: Student Services Coordinator at GeorgiaGov
GeorgiaGov is seeking a detail-oriented professional to take on the role of Student Services Coordinator. This position entails executing specialized functions to enhance student services operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting students throughout enrollment phases and course adjustment procedures;
- Facilitating informative presentations for prospective students;
- Evaluating academic records and making admission determinations;
- Responding to questions regarding new student admissions;
- Conducting outreach initiatives at educational institutions and career expos;
- Managing community inquiries through multiple communication channels;
- Supporting faculty with student-related concerns;
- Aiding in the organization of the annual employment fair;
- Advising student organizations; and
- Performing additional duties as necessary.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of vocational education and academic programs;
- Familiarity with financial assistance processes;
- Understanding of applicable state and federal guidelines;
- Experience in budget oversight;
- Competence in computer applications and job-specific software;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree *and* three (3) years of pertinent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline with at least three years of customer service experience;
- Previous experience with administrative software systems.

Salary and Benefits:
Compensation will be determined based on educational background and experience. Employee benefits encompass paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, along with the Georgia Flexible Benefits package.
