Senior International Trade Compliance Specialist

The Defense Sector at Leidos is seeking a Senior International Trade Analyst to work in our Reston, VA office. This role provides day-to-day trade compliance support of the Sea Systems Business Area.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting all export and import compliance activities within the Sector portfolio of contracts. The selected candidate will report to the Corporate Trade and International Business Compliance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction, input, and guidance to programs and employees related to export and import compliance.
- Draft export licenses, technical assistance agreements, and process ITAR exemption requests.
- Manage export and import authorization records in the eTrace system.
- Review International Business Review Board (IBRB) routings for export /import compliance.
- Conduct export/import training for internal stakeholders.
- Approve foreign travel / foreign visitors.
- Conduct restricted party screenings.
- Review/approve documentation for public release.
- Review/approve international shipments.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or related field) and 4+ years of experience in export / import compliance.
- Proficiency with Department of State's International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations.
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
