Job Title: Senior Internal Auditor

The Senior Internal Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and processes. This position will be responsible for performing audits to assess the design and operating effectiveness of our controls, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Internal Audit Manager in planning, executing, and reporting on audit projects
  • Review operational and business risks to determine the scope of proposed audits
  • Execute audit projects to assess internal control processes and operational performance
  • Identify opportunities for control and process improvements in pre- and post-implementation of IT systems and other major initiatives
  • Perform and document walkthrough and testing procedures to assess SOX compliance
  • Provide verbal and written reports to management during and after completion of projects
  • Collaborate with business process owners to educate them on the importance of maintaining strong internal controls
  • Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to ensure effective and efficient audit procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum three years of relevant audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 or national accounting firm
  • CPA or CIA certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Solid understanding of the COSO Internal Control - Integrated Framework and concepts
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in analyzing problems and evaluating internal controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
