Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful implementation of projects, documenting outcomes and observations for continuous improvement.
- Automation Expertise: Develop and implement automation solutions using tools such as Ansible and Terraform to decrease user wait times and improve overall efficiency.
- Enterprise Infrastructure Expert: Evaluate current enterprise infrastructure deployments, support expansions, and ensure that all solutions are highly scalable and vendor-agnostic.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Identify and provide solutions to increase the efficiencies of the overall infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Virtual Infrastructure Management: Contribute to and manage the entirety of the virtual infrastructure, reviewing current designs, identifying areas for improvement or future enhancements, and working with teams to implement changes according to CAB.
- Enterprise Storage Expert: Experience with enterprise storage including designs, implementations, expansions, and migrations, ensuring seamless data management and storage solutions.
- Backup Solutions Expert: Proven technical abilities in deploying enterprise backup solutions across multiple programs that require various levels of RTO's and RPO's, implementing the required design and routinely reviewing and validating the solution.
- Vendor Management: Assist in vendor management and assist in building quotes and renewals, ensuring effective partnerships and cost optimization.
- Technical Support: Provide support as required for addressing escalated trouble tickets for troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
- System Maintenance: Perform system maintenance and software installations in a Linux environment, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Security Patch Management: Install and maintain monthly security patches as required, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn new IT technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
- Team Player: Be a team player with the ability to work well independently with limited direction, providing excellent customer service and coordinating several concurrent tasks.
