ResponsibilitiesAs a Patient Care Assistant, you will assist patient care unit staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Assisting with medical procedures and treatments
- Maintaining patient records and reports
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have completed 12 college credits or equivalent
- Have a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent
