- Engineering Leadership: Oversee the Engineering Department, ensuring building safety and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
- Communication and Team Management: Conduct pre-shift meetings, provide effective communication to staff, and motivate and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
- Maintenance and Repair: Create and execute preventive maintenance programs, manage building systems, and oversee repairs to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth operation.
- Capital Planning: Establish maintenance schedules and execute capital plans to ensure the hotel's infrastructure remains up-to-date and efficient.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of building maintenance leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft programming and general computer operations.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills in English.
- Physical Demands: Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Fire Safety Director
- City Wide Sprinkler System certification
- City Wide Standpipe System certification
- EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification preferred
- Low PSI Oil Burner Operator certification
- Fuel Piping certification
