Career Opportunity for Occupational Therapists

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Autism Unit. As an integral member of our team, you will provide comprehensive services to individuals with disabilities that impact their daily life activities or participation in necessary or desired activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored assessments and treatment plans focused on deficits in personal care, process skills, social skills, and graphic communication.
  • Provide sensory therapy to alleviate symptoms associated with Spectrum Disorders.
  • Independently review outcomes, modify intervention programs, and collaborate with the treatment team to ensure optimal results.
  • Educate and instruct Mental Health Associates and direct care providers to reinforce repetitive activities essential for reinforcing the treatment process and achieving desired goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited occupational therapy professional program recognized by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
  • One year of experience working with children and adolescent clients with Autism and special needs.
  • Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy and current licensure by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.

Compensation: $100,000 per year
