Job Title: Autism Unit Rehabilitation Therapist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Crawford Thomas Recruiting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and special needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to individuals with autism and special needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address deficits in personal care, process skills, social skills, and graphic communication.
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and training to mental health associates and other direct care providers to enhance their knowledge and skills.

 

Requirements:

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
  • Initial certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy and current licensure by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • One year of experience working with children and adolescent clients with autism and special needs.
