Job Description:

The Credentialing Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all credentialing tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This includes preparing and sending out packets, applications, contracts, and other correspondence by email or fax.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the credentialing queue, respond to incoming calls, and review/distribute incoming mail.
  • Perform online searches and verifications, update spreadsheets, and make follow-up calls to providers, health plans, and CVO.
  • Collaborate with provider services department on setting up profiles for new provider contracts and enter data into sPHERICAL Solutions.
  • Assist coordinators with task completion and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; knowledge of healthcare credentialing highly preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards preferred.
  • Ability to prepare designated reports and proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, primarily Word and Excel 2013 or higher.
  • Ability to multitask and work well as a team.
Estimated Annual Salary:

$58,000 - $68,000 per year.
