Oncology Clinical Pharmacist

The Johns Hopkins Hospital, a leading academic medical institution, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist IIA to join our dedicated pharmacy team. Role Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist IIA will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive pharmacy services in both inpatient and outpatient oncology infusion environments. This position will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient health outcomes, manage medication therapies, and address both acute and chronic health conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert consultation on medication management to healthcare professionals.
- Educating patients and their families on medication usage and safety.
- Engaging in clinical decision-making to optimize pharmacotherapy.
- Participating in the development and implementation of clinical protocols.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm D. or BS degree.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a health-system setting.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
- Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or an equivalent certification is required within two years of hire.
- Completion of hospital and departmental education requirements within 90 days of employment.
- ACLS and/or PALS certification is preferred.
Work Schedule: This position requires a rotating shift, including weekends, and is a full-time role.
