Role Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist IIA will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive pharmacy services within both inpatient and outpatient oncology infusion environments. This position will report directly to the Division Director of Pharmacy and will work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to:
- Promote patient wellness and manage health conditions.
- Consult with healthcare professionals regarding medication-related issues.
- Educate patients and their families about medication usage and management.
- Provide training and support to pharmacy residents, students, and other healthcare practitioners.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm D. or BS degree.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a health-system setting.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
- Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or an equivalent certification within two years of employment.
- Completion of hospital and departmental education requirements within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS and/or PALS certification is preferred.
Work Schedule: This position requires a rotating shift with weekend availability, and is a full-time role.
