Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Wendy's. As a key leader in the restaurant, you will be responsible for driving the overall customer experience, supporting the execution of operational systems, and helping to deliver positive restaurant results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reliable and Dependable: Ensure that you are consistently on time and meet the expectations of your role.
  • Inspire and Influence Crew members: Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages crew members to always do their best.
  • Assist in the training and development of new crew members: Provide guidance and support to new hires to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Understand and utilize Wendy's Operational Systems: Develop a deep understanding of our operational systems and use them to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the restaurant.
  • Knowledge of Restaurant's Business Performance: Stay up-to-date on key business metrics and use that information to make informed decisions.
  • Create a fun and respectful place for both employees and customers: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that makes both employees and customers feel valued and respected.
  • Continuous growth with General Manager aspirations: Develop the skills and experience needed to move into a General Manager role in the future.
  • Foster a Team environment with a "Customer-First" culture: Encourage a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and other elements. You will be required to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25-30 pounds as needed.
