Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Admissions team at North Broward Preparatory School as an Assistant Director of Boarding Admissions. This is a full-time, twelve-month position that will play a critical role in meeting our boarding enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing and Recruitment
    • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract prospective boarding families.
    • Manage specific marketing and direct boarding recruitment efforts for assigned prospective/applicant pool.
    • Participate in related recruitment events and travel (days, evenings and weekends).
  • Admissions Process
    • Review student files and evaluate transcripts, making admissions recommendations.
    • Update information in school student database.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work with admissions colleagues and division leaders to create an effective team and ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to enrolled student status.
  • Communication and Counseling
    • Interview and counsel prospective boarding families.
    • Provide accurate information and counseling regarding educational opportunities.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage caseloads of boarding prospects and applicants.
    • Prepare dashboards and reports in Salesforce and assist management in special projects.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience
    • One year (1) or more of progressive admissions, enrollment management and/or marketing work experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong written and verbal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail and use good judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education
    • Master's Degree.
  • Experience
    • Minimum two (2) years admissions, enrollment management and/or marketing work experience in an education setting.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent knowledge and experience working with admissions technology systems.
    • Bilingual.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, twelve-month position that requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to travel domestically and internationally.
