Job Overview

SST Direct is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead our commercial electrical services team in Tampa, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Train, manage, and schedule electricians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Project Management: Review and file daily project reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Installation and Repair: Complete electrical installations and repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards.
  • Facility Operations: Oversee all facility department operations related to electrical services, including equipment maintenance and tool management.
  • Client Relations: Investigate and resolve client complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Team Coordination: Lead weekly team meetings to coordinate efforts, set priorities, and align team members with departmental goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the team follows electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other facility department leaders and company executives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Develop and improve departmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to attract and retain clients, driving revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Work Scheduling: Determine work schedules and assignments for the team, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
  • Budget Management: Set and track the departmental budget, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical services
  • 3+ years of experience running a service department
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical engineering, control systems, and MEP systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
