About the Role

Anchor Glass Container Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Maintenance Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems. You will also be required to diagnose and fix issues related to chains, belts, rollers, conveyors, palletizers, and inspection equipment.

Training and Development

You will be trained in a classroom setting for 144 hours per year, covering topics such as industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical systems. You will also be assigned to a crew to work rotating shifts, including 7 consecutive days of an 8am-4pm shift, followed by 3 days off, then working 7 consecutive days of a 12mid-8am shift, followed by 2 days off, and then starting back on the 8-4 shift. This amounts to working 21 days with 7 days off in a 28-day cycle.
