Job Summary

Sand Companies Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties in Chaska & Shakopee, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to resident work orders and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the overall condition of our properties.
  3. Assist with snow removal, light siding, roof, and concrete repair as needed.
  4. Inspect and maintain HVAC and mechanical components on a regular schedule.
  5. Complete repairs for unit turn and maintain accurate records.
  6. Assist with maintaining grounds and top-quality curb appeal.
  7. Order supplies and maintain an adequate inventory.
  8. Keep storage areas clean and organized.
  9. Perform touch-up painting and communicate with the Property Manager and Leadership team as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
  • Prefer Property Maintenance experience.
  • Must possess or have the ability to acquire a CPO (Sand will cover costs).
  • MN State Special Engineer Boilers license within 6 months of employment.
