Field Engineer II Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during field operations, coordinating with onshore engineering teams as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including daily reports, equipment logs, and inspection records.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of offshore projects, ensuring resources, personnel, and equipment are aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, vessel crews, and client representatives to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits to promote a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and any deviations from planned schedules or budgets.
Requirements:
  • ~4-year accredited engineering degree.
  • ~EIT preferred (ENGINEER IN TRAINING The EIT License and Certification is a professional designation you receive after passing the NCEES FE exam (Fundamentals of Engineering exam) and completing a degree from an ABET-accredited school. "EIT" is an acronym that stands for Engineer-in-Training).
