**Costa Mesa Marriott Hotel Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our Human Resources team as a Hotel Human Resources Specialist. This role is responsible for conducting day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including greeting guests, administering benefits programs, and responding to inquiries and concerns.

**Responsibilities**
  1. Assist associates with requests and provide information in a timely manner.
  2. Participate in recruiting, screening, and interviewing for management and non-management positions. Schedule interviews and process related paperwork.
  3. Create and update HR bulletin boards, distribute paychecks, maintain accurate department files, and explain benefit options to associates.
  4. Coordinate associate relations events, recognition, and award programs.
  5. Process benefits enrollments electronically and monitor job requisitions.
  6. Coordinate pre-selection activities, including drug testing and reference checks.
  7. Process all transfer requests within the required timeframe.
  8. Respond to interviewed applicants via phone or letter within the required time frame.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Leadership skills, written communication skills, and ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to adapt to different audiences.
**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
