Human Resources Coordinator Assistant

**Job Summary**This role involves conducting day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including greeting guests, administering benefits programs, and responding to inquiries and concerns.
**Responsibilities**- Associate Support: Assist associates with requests and provide information in a timely manner.
- Recruiting and Hiring: Participate in recruiting, screening, and interviewing for management and non-management positions. Schedule interviews and process related paperwork.
- HR Administration: Create and update HR bulletin boards, distribute paychecks, maintain accurate department files, and explain benefit options to associates.
- Event Coordination: Assist with associate relations events, recognition, and award programs.
- Benefits Enrollment: Process benefits enrollments electronically and monitor job requisitions.
- Pre-Selection Activities: Coordinate drug testing, reference checks, and other pre-selection activities to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Transfer Requests: Process all transfer requests within the required timeframe.
- Communication: Respond to interviewed applicants via phone or letter within the required time frame.
- AAP Goals: Assist the Director of Human Resources or Human Resources Manager in achieving goals and objectives as identified in the hotel's annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, leadership skills, written communication skills, and ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to adapt to different audiences.
