Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our team at JARBO. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Oversee the design and analysis of civil engineering projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
  • Manage the permitting process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure projects meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site development, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with procurement processes and contract negotiations.
