About the Opportunity

The Clinton Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Development Operations Manager to join our Development team. This key role will play a critical part in advancing the Foundation's mission by leading various operational and administrative functions, and other projects in support of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Tracking and Gift Administration
    • Oversee the processing and proper recording of gifts and pledge fulfillment.
    • Prepare gift, pledge, sponsorship, and/or grant agreements, and invoicing.
    • Assist the CDO and Directors on partnership, major gifts and endowment pledge fulfillment, including reporting, pledge reminders, and other donor communications.
    • Prepare the necessary data files of gift receipt letters and appropriate acknowledgement letters according to established procedures.
    • Build and manage tracking for contracts, sponsor benefits, and gifts.
  • Data Management
    • Maintain and update a high-quality donor database that supports the goals and objectives of the department with respect to fundraising and relationship management.
    • Liaise with the CRM Database Manager to implement and oversee data entry procedures, data hygiene practices, and database integrity.
    • Regularly audit and update donor data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Assist CDO, Directors, and others in producing routine gift & special revenue reports and work with the CRM Manager as needed to develop and refine such reports.
    • Serve as a resource to Development team in the preparation of CRM queries and lists for various purposes, segmentations, and data file preparation as requested; train other Development staff members to do likewise.
  • Donor Recognition and Stewardship
    • Lead annual endowment stewardship reporting.
    • Update financial filings and materials, i.e. W-9s and other documents.
    • Process DAF/Foundation letters.
    • Maintain and update various Development team forms, instructions, etc.
    • Coordinate Development team office operations, including team meetings, incoming emails, correspondence and calls directed to the Department.
    • Utilize data to assist the development team in managing and growing the donor pipeline.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing responsibility required
  • Experience in non-profit environment with similar responsibility preferred
  • Understanding the fundamentals of a Development office and a charitable foundation
Compensation and Benefits

The Clinton Foundation offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60-65K annually, depending on experience. This role is eligible for overtime pay. The Foundation also offers a generous benefits package at little to no cost to employees.
