Job Summary

Blue Canyon Technologies, a leading manufacturer of small satellites, is seeking an experienced Electronics and Harnessing Manufacturing Engineer to lead our PCBA and Harness manufacturing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing best practices, investigating and resolving defects, and driving factory improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of manufacturing engineers specializing in electrical and harness manufacturing
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing best practice documentation for PCBA and Harness manufacturing
  • Investigate and resolve defects, and implement corrective actions
  • Support PCBA Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and review PCBA schematics and layouts
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality to develop and maintain a robust supplier base for Class 3 PCB, PCBA, and Harness manufacturers

Requirements:

  • BS or AAS degree in an Engineering field or equivalent discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in Electrical and Harness manufacturing
  • IPC 610 and 620 certified
  • Experience with Class 3 PCBA manufacturing and complex harness assembly
  • Proficiency with interpreting PCBA schematics and drawings, and harness wiring diagrams and drawings
