Job Summary

Medtronic is seeking a skilled Programme Management Lead to oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies.
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manage the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Review the status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
  • Monitor the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gather requirements, work on requirements planning, requirements elicitation, and requirements management to ensure they meet the demands of project key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing and/or product development, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Medical device product development and/or manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of FDA, ICH, and IEC standards.
  • Proven operations experience with depth of knowledge in at least one operations function.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, avionics, automotive).
  • Project engineering or program management experience in a new product development and/or manufacturing environment.
