A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Circuit Board Fabrication Specialist to join ARA's Applied Electromagnetics Division in Lafayette, CO.

This position involves performing a wide range of steps required for printed circuit board materials manufacturing in a development and production environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of materials, processes, tools, and equipment employed by a machine shop, composites layup lab, and circuit soldering station.

Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining wet process printed circuit board etching equipment, providing important insight to assist engineers with the design and fabrication of unique, cost-effective, high-quality, high-volume parts, and ensuring the quality inspection of printed circuits.

A strong portfolio of successfully fabricated hardware in the aerospace/defense or related industry is required, along with an Associates degree in a technology or science related to materials or manufacturing or commensurate experience.

The successful candidate will also be able to obtain and hold a DoD SECRET-level security clearance.

Preferred qualifications include soldering certifications, knowledge of ESD practices and tools for active devices and equipment, and direct antennas, radomes, circuits, and/or RF/EM materials experience.
