Position Summary: We are in search of a Technical Support Specialist who possesses strong skills in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues, facilitating user setups, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of IT technical experience or a recent graduate in a related field.
- Proficient in hardware setup for new users and capable of performing break-fix tasks for both hardware and software.
- Solid understanding of computing and networking principles.
- Familiarity with standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office, as well as intranet and internet functionalities.
- Awareness of computer security protocols.
- A degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
Desirable Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Imaging computers, replacing printer toner, managing the disposal of outdated equipment, and addressing trouble tickets from ServiceNow.
- Configuring laptops for remote employees.
- Participating in a weekend on-call rotation.
- This is an onsite role, with preference given to local or regional candidates.
- Position requires availability for the second shift (2:30 PM - 11 PM).
Compensation: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
