About the Opportunity:
Sysco is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in Illinois. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and profitability in your assigned territory.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth and profitability
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, agriculture/animal science or related studies preferred
- 2-year prior food service sales and/or culinary background strongly preferred
- Deep expertise of meat and seafood category or restaurant/culinary background with a shown capacity to quickly learn and apply new knowledge
- Consultative sales ability
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year
