Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Psychologist to join our team at the University of California, Davis. As a key member of our Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to children and adolescents in various settings, including the Child Behavioral Health Clinic, Pediatric Collaborative Care Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, School-Based Mental Health Program, and the Sacramento County Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family-based psychological interventions to children and adolescents.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide clinical training and supervision to residents, medical students, and psychology interns/postdoctoral fellows.
  • Collaborate with professionals from multiple systems of care, including mandated reporting agencies.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of California, or license eligible.
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA and/or PCSAS accredited training program and internship.
  • At least 2 years' experience working and/or training in an outpatient setting.
  • Specific training and experience in child and adolescent psychopathology and/or pediatric psychology.
  • Knowledge of basic psychological principles and evidence-based practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in collaborating with professionals from multiple systems of care, including mandated reporting agencies.
  • Specific training/experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent management training (PMT), exposure and response prevention, and/or family-based interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clinical training and supervision to residents, medical students, and psychology interns/postdoctoral fellows in group and individual psychotherapy and psychological assessment.
