ROLE OVERVIEW

The Client Solutions Specialist will manage and facilitate the deployment of Foods Connected tools with our clients, encompassing our complete suite of solutions, including Supplier Management, Food Safety and Quality, and Procurement. This role may also extend to future business areas such as Trace Connected, Data Connected, or any new functionalities we develop. As an integral part of our clients' teams, the Client Solutions Specialist will help ensure their operations remain competitive in the market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support existing accounts within Foods Connected and enhance our presence within those clients.
  • Perform data manipulation and cleansing for key account onboarding.
  • Conduct workshops with client teams to identify challenges and explore potential improvements.
  • Provide insights into our offerings to assist their business and develop project proposals aimed at driving change.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions on the 'live system' to client user groups.
  • Engage with current and prospective key accounts, addressing their needs while aligning with Foods Connected's core strategy and software objectives.
  • Conduct business analysis on key account operations to illustrate how Foods Connected tools can enhance their processes.
  • Assist in developing reports and configuring demonstration data and systems.
  • Collaborate with the software development team and business leadership to determine inclusions in the development plan for new business initiatives.
  • Manage communication and execution of solution handover to client services, service delivery, technology, and other team members at designated milestones.
  • Test new system developments, review, and recommend enhancements to the development team.
  • Leverage previous experience to develop strategies and structures that streamline Foods Connected processes as the business expands.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

To excel in this role, the Client Solutions Specialist should possess:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the food industry, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or food service.
  • Prior experience with SaaS platforms, particularly those related to supply chain management in the food sector for tracking quality, suppliers, or procurement.
  • Project management certification or training is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the benefits of our solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to collaboratively address client challenges and devise effective solutions.
  • Discretion when handling confidential documents and information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field along with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in the food industry is essential.
