Job Title: Staff Product Development Engineer

At TE Connectivity, we're looking for a highly skilled Staff Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development of power solution products for data center applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new power connector and cable assembly solution products.
  • Provide leadership and manage the complete product development life cycle, from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with customers, sales, and project managers to understand customer requirements and develop engineering solutions.
  • Follow LEANPD Project Process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with quality.
  • Develop and manage product documentation, including product requirements, design documents, and test plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience with product development processes, including design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data center technology and connectors/cable assembly.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art design tools, such as 3D CAD, modeling, and simulation.
