Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at 125 Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Services: Provide efficient and high-quality service to patients, including registering patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls.
  • Billing Services: Ensure accurate and timely billing information, including reviewing encounter forms and entering patient charges into the EMR system.
  • Medical Record Services: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including loose filing and re-filing of charts.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One to two years of related customer service experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to solve problems, and experience with eClinicalWorks and scheduling sections of the eClinicalWorks system.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that requires the ability to work in a high-volume, multiple-task environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under stressful conditions with demanding customers and have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
