Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Custodial Staff: Delegate and monitor work assignments, provide guidance and support to ensure that all staff members are meeting company standards.
  • Inspect and Approve Cleaning: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all public areas are clean and well-maintained, and approve the work of custodial staff.
  • Handle Personnel-Related Matters: Handle hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and monitoring of custodial staff, ensuring that all personnel-related matters are handled in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Maintain Cleaning Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are in good working order and are compliant with safety standards.
  • Complete Work Orders: Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and follow up to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that all custodial staff are aware of and comply with all regulatory requirements, including those related to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Experience in a Similar Role: Six months of experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, as well as the ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies, is required for this role.
  • Knowledge of Cleaning Chemicals: A thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use is required for this role.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are required for this role, as you will be interacting with customers and staff on a regular basis.
