Pulmonary Critical Care Physician Wanted
About the Role:
Our client, a not-for-profit teaching hospital, is seeking a skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct outpatient duties, including chest clinic visits, telemedicine consultations, and procedure evaluations.
• Provide inpatient care, including MICU, progressive care unit, and pulmonary consults.
• Interpret pulmonary function tests and perform procedures such as thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, and bronchoscopies.
Requirements:
• MD or DO degree
• Board certified/Board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
• Valid New York State License
• DEA and Medicaid number
• Familiarity with thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, indwelling pleural catheters, bronchoscopies, EBUS, and intubations preferred
