Pulmonary Critical Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our growing network in the New York metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pulmonary medicine and critical care, with excellent clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • 70% Outpatient / 30% Inpatient split
  • Outpatient duties include chest clinic, tele visits, procedure efficacy, and evaluations as well as PFT interpretation
  • Inpatient duties include ICU, progressive care unit, pulmonary consults, and procedures
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations related to respiratory symptoms
  • Evaluate patients with breathing difficulties, chronic cough, chest pain, and other respiratory issues
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certified/Board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
  • Valid New York State License
  • DEA and Medicaid number
  • Familiarity with thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, indwelling pleural catheters, bronchoscopies, EBUS, and intubations preferred
