Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients, escort them to examination rooms, and assist with completing forms as necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and perform clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and faxing.
  • Communication: Answer multiple phone lines, respond to patient inquiries, and communicate with insurance companies to verify eligibility.
  • Procedure Support: Assist doctors during medical procedures, prepare patients before procedures, and clean up after.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members and assist ultrasound staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant Medical Assistant experience required.
  • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/CMA/RMA) preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills.
