About the Role

The Bartolotta Restaurants is a renowned culinary organization seeking a highly organized and self-directed individual to fill the position of Café Operations Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our grab and go café area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the café, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and exceptional guest service.
  • Identify and Communicate Responsibilities: Clearly communicate responsibilities with management to ensure objectives are met and guest service is achieved.
  • Manage Guest Complaints: Effectively respond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Review Operations: Consistently review operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Manage Costs: Manage food, beverage, and labor costs, as well as budgeting and P&L, to ensure financial stability.
  • Inventory Management: Manage weekly inventory and ordering of all products to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Reporting: Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual sales revenues and expenses.
Requirements
  • Highly Organized: Possess excellent organizational skills and be self-directed.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of one year's experience in fast-casual dining concept.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Preferred experience with food and beverage knowledge.
  • Cashier Software: Familiarity with cashier software.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle and feel.
  • Interacting with Staff and Customers: Able to interact with staff and customers in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Lifting: Able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
  • Work Schedule: Able to work days, weekends, and holidays.
