Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team in the opening of a new café located in a vibrant community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and be able to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security.


Responsibilities for Restaurant Operations Manager


Develop and implement effective restaurant operations strategies to ensure seamless service delivery


Hire, train, and supervise restaurant employees to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction


Create and manage budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses and maximize profitability


Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment


Process payroll and maintain all relevant records, including employee performance evaluations and training records


Develop and implement effective customer service strategies to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction


Qualifications for Restaurant Operations Manager


Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field required; Master's degree preferred


5+ years of food service management experience required, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams


Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members


Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
