Job Summary:The Community Corrections Officer 2 is responsible for supervising individuals under community corrections supervision, conducting investigations, and providing support services to help individuals reintegrate into the community. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise individuals under community corrections supervision, including conducting regular visits and monitoring their progress.
- Conduct investigations and gather information to support case management decisions.
- Provide support services to help individuals reintegrate into the community, including connecting them with resources and services.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to ensure a comprehensive approach to community corrections.
- Develop and implement case plans to help individuals achieve their goals and reduce the risk of reoffending.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a related field, such as corrections, social work, or counseling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to public safety and community well-being.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations.
