Job Summary

The Operations Maintenance Coordinator (OMC) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refineries. This position serves as a liaison between Operations and Maintenance, responsible for prioritizing and coordinating maintenance work to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and coordinate maintenance work requests to ensure timely completion and minimize disruptions to operations
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors to develop and implement maintenance schedules that meet the needs of the process units
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is properly planned, executed, and documented to meet regulatory requirements and maintain asset reliability
  • Manage the work order system to ensure that preventive maintenance is executed as scheduled and that the routine maintenance work order backlog is maintained at an acceptable level
  • Participate in work order backlog review and prioritization to identify and implement reliability-driven improvements
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Ten (10) or more years Experience in refinery, petrochemical or chemical role (Required)
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: (5-S, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles)
