Restaurant Manager Job Description

Sushi Marquee is a unique dining experience that combines the nostalgia of 80s and 90s movie culture with a modern twist. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Operations: Manage all areas of the restaurant, including guest service, food quality, and inventory control.
  • Food Safety and Planning: Ensure sanitary practices, consistent high-quality food preparation, and accurate inventory management.
  • Financial: Monitor sales, costs, and budgets to optimize profits and minimize waste.
  • Employee Related: Provide direction, training, and performance evaluations to hourly employees.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year management experience in a full-service restaurant or high-volume concept.
  • Proficiency in food planning, sanitation, security, personnel management, and recordkeeping.
  • Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system.
  • College degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, climbing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Shift Flexibility:

Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
