Kroger is seeking an experienced logistics and human resources professional to lead our operations in the HR function. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success by driving business results through talent management and process improvement.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, preferably in logistics or supply chain, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role offers a competitive salary of $145,000 - $165,000 per year, plus benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business results through talent management and process improvement.
  • Lead the performance management process, utilizing the Kroger Leadership Model (KLM).
  • Manage succession planning for key associates and oversee diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Recruit and select top talent, developing effective associate relations programs that enhance engagement.
  • Act as liaison with government agencies and third-party vendors, serving on negotiating teams and resolving grievances.
  • Communicate effectively to minimize conflict and foster a positive relationship between management and associates.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of human resources experience, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Above 500 associates (Level 9) or below 500 associates (Level 8). Ability to travel independently (
