Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at W A Kendall and Company LLC. As an essential member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to, chain saws, brush cutters, and aerial lifts.
  • Remove Debris: Remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, ensuring that all areas are clear and safe for operation.
  • Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Work Safely: Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules, wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1-5 years' prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
  • Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
  • Education: High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
