Job Title: Construction Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Foreman to oversee and manage construction projects related to waste water treatment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction and project management, as well as knowledge of waste water treatment processes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
  • Oversee and schedule excavation, underground pipe installation, and other mechanical work.
  • Ensure compliance with waste water treatment regulations and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor costs.
  • Train and mentor team members on proper construction techniques and safety procedures.
  • Manage project budget and make adjustments as needed to stay within allocated funds.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any construction issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in construction or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in construction.
  • Knowledge of waste water treatment processes and regulations.
  • Experience with mechanical work and underground pipe installation.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using construction equipment and tools.
