Job Title: Pipefitter Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. As a key member of our industrial construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of piping systems and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate potential safety risks and provide corrective action as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with job specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and training to journeymen on safety procedures, techniques, and best practices.
• Coordinate with other craft disciplines to ensure seamless project execution and prevent jurisdictional conflicts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, and implement Bechtel's job procedures and work rules.
• Inspect finished work for quality and completeness.
• Understand project scope, priorities, and schedules.
• Complete planned work on schedule and identify potential problems in a timely manner.
• Take corrective action when work is not performed according to drawings, specifications, or industry standards.
• Ensure accurate reporting of time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status.

Requirements:

• 6 years of industrial construction experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, safety procedures, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
