Bechtel Corporation is seeking a skilled Rigger Foreman to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Rigger Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of rigging operations on our construction sites. This includes identifying potential hazards, providing corrective action, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and provide corrective action as needed.
- Develop and implement effective safety procedures and techniques to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other craft disciplines to ensure smooth workflow and prevent jurisdictional conflicts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, understand job specifications, and implement Bechtel job procedures and work rules.
- Inspect finished work for quality and completeness.
- Understand work priorities and schedules, and complete planned work on schedule.
- Identify potential problems in a timely manner and take quick remedial action when necessary.
- Ensure accurate reports are submitted with regard to time sheets, backcharges, quantity, and work status.
The ideal candidate will have 6 years of industrial construction experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and techniques, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills, are essential for this position.
