Physiatrist (PM&R) - Academic Medicine Opportunity

UMPhysicians is seeking a highly skilled Physiatrist (PM&R) to join our dynamic academic department. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our physiatry program.
Responsibilities- Provide outpatient General Physiatry care within the M Health Fairview system, serving patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Work collaboratively with the PM&R Medical Director/Division Director and leadership to build strong relationships with referring departments and units, maintaining and strengthening the program.
- Participate in call coverage at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (IRF) on a rotating basis and provide cross-coverage of inpatient services for absences, as needed.
- Work with APPs and trainees in inpatient and outpatient settings, mentoring and training the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Graduate of an accredited PM&R residency training program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible with the American Board of PM&R (ABPM&R).
- Eligible to obtain a Minnesota Board of Medical Practice license.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
