Pharmacist - Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers. Key Responsibilities- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
- Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
- Maintain confidential information and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with a strong focus on patient care and customer service.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
