Pharmacist - Customer Experience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Kroger. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive pharmacy experience for all customers.
- Fulfill prescriptions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Administer vaccines as needed and provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA.
- Maintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct, and attitude, and adhere to pharmacy standards and company dress code.
- Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and policies/procedures, and ensure proper record keeping and security.
- Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources and ensure all accuracy tools are utilized appropriately.
- Establish and maintain all record keeping practices necessary for legal compliance, company policies, and accounting policies.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area, including work counters, shelves, floors, and customer counter.
- Ensure all product returns are handled in a timely fashion and per company policy.
- Maintain all equipment, including computers, printers, accuracy scanners, and cash registers, to ensure it remains in working condition.
- Maintain and organize all policy manuals, reference books, state laws, and required equipment, and verify that all staff is knowledgeable of their use.
- Maintain proper signage in all areas necessary.
- Make a strong and continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner.
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
- Effective oral/written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- 1 year of retail experience.
- Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
