Position Summary:

The Member Engagement & ATM Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal ATM functionality for our members. This position involves supporting, sourcing, and managing vendor relationships for first and second line maintenance, network processing, and cash replenishment, all aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Striving for operational excellence and accountability in ATM vendor management and service delivery, characterized by responsiveness and collaboration to guarantee maximum uptime for our members.
  • Overseeing ATM hardware management, including the creation of hardware life cycle plans.
  • Reviewing and approving professional services and billable work for accuracy before payment processing.
  • Adopting a member-centric approach when collaborating with off-site ATM retail partners.
  • Providing responsive level 1 support for ATMs within the MCU branch network as needed.
  • Coordinating and scheduling efficient cash replenishment processes.
  • Assisting management with internal and external IT audits concerning core systems data controls, change management, and third-party integrations for ATM security.
  • Gathering and analyzing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs and metrics related to ATM operations, interpreting data, and offering innovative recommendations for operational improvement.
  • Delivering level two and level three troubleshooting support for ATM hardware and network challenges.
  • Providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management for team members.
  • Facilitating a consultative support approach for the daily operations of ATM staff and related applications.
  • Managing projects related to third-party integrations between the ATM environment and external solutions.
  • Creating procedures and executing detailed change management for operational adjustments.
  • Ensuring adherence to goals and standards established by vendor Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively identifying, analyzing, and documenting risks or issues, recommending solutions, and initiating corrective actions within established SLAs.
  • Coordinating testing and communication of ATM patching and maintenance.
  • Leading ATM initiatives with a structured methodology to coordinate activities, schedule resources, and ensure timely completion.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services sector with a comprehensive understanding of financial principles, front and back office operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • 3+ years of experience in ATM operations on projects of varying sizes and complexities, demonstrating skills in workflow/process analysis, requirements gathering, and testing plan execution.
  • 3+ years of experience in first and second line maintenance support for ATMs (preferably Diebold).
  • Familiarity with Visa DPS ATM Processing is advantageous.
  • Experience in ATM cash ordering and replenishment.
  • Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and security protocols.
  • Proficient in Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2016.
  • Experience in writing SQL scripts for reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Strategic thinking and forward-looking approach.
